The presenter is Tristan Johns, co-founder of Spyrian Limited, a UK private intelligence and investigations firm. Tristan has previously worked in corporate investigations, maritime intelligence, country threat assessment, media security and more, including extremist monitoring and terror group network analysis. His focus has been on collection using mainly OSINT with some HUMINT, with a more recent move in to teaching OSINT more formally in both individual mentoring and group settings.
The workshop is organised and chaired by Anna Kruglova. Anna is a Lecturer of Terrorism Studies at the School of Arts and Media at the University of Salford, an Associate fellow at the International Centre for Countering Terrorism in the Hague (ICCT) and a member of the AVERT Research Network. Anna is also an author of the book Terrorist Propaganda, Recruitment and Branding: Selling Terror Online.
