The Next Gen Network is an academic platform dedicated to supporting early career researchers with an interest in investigating online extremism. This initiative seeks to provide a space for the development of young academics and equip them with the proper resources necessary for success.

Academic Empowerment

Providing a voice to young researchers. We want to give you the ability to contribute to the discourse surrounding online extremism through your diverse research findings and perspectives.

Community Building

Beyond individual research pursuits, our aim is to facilitate the establishment of a scholarly community, fostering the exchange of knowledge and ideas and creating enduring connections among emerging scholars in the broad field.

Peer-Led Initiative

The Next Gen Network is an endeavor driven by early career researchers for early career researchers. The steering committee is well-acquainted with the unique challenges and resources necessary for studying online extremism and is always looking for news perspectives and ideas to contribute to the program.

Resource Access

Participants will gain access to a comprehensive array of academic resources. This includes research publications, datasets, mentorship programs, and opportunities for research funding. Our goal is to bolster the academic development of early career researchers across the many different needs of the community.
