Ellie Rogers

Ellie Rogers is a PhD candidate within the Cyber Threats Research Centre (CYTREC) at Swansea University. In collaboration with Moonshot, Ellie’s PhD research focuses on the algorithmic amplification of counter-speech, in the context of combatting online extremism. More broadly, her research interests include; countering violent extremism, recommender systems and the combination of online and offline factors that contribute to radicalisation. Ellie is also a Senior Teaching Assistant within the department of Criminology at Swansea University.
