Katy Vaughan

Dr Katy Vaughan is a Senior Lecturer in Law and member of the Cyber Threats Research Centre (CYTREC) at Swansea University. Katy’s research focuses on counterterrorism law and policy and the impact of this on the protection and promotion of human rights, emphasising the importance to an effective counterterrorism strategy of respect for human rights. She is currently Co-Chair of the Christchurch Call Advisory Network, and a member of the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT)’s Legal Frameworks Working Group.
