Michael Loadenthal
Dr. Michael Loadenthal serves as a Research Professor with the Center for Cyber Strategy and Policy, at the School for International and Public Affairs, at the University of Cincinnati. He serves concurrently as the founding Executive Director of the Prosecution Project (tPP) tracking political violence through the US courts, and a subject matter expert, consultant, and trainer in the areas of threat modeling, risk assessment, digital-operational security, and open-source intelligence. Michael has worked in conflict and disaster zones on four continents, conducting threat modeling and security audits for social movement organizations, NGOs, individuals holding public office, journalists, and high-risk activists. Michael is a frequent publisher of his work, which has been featured in books, journals, and news outlets including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Guardian, The New Yorker, Al Jazeera, The Intercept, and USA Today.
