Miraji Mohamed
Miraji Mohamed is a post-doctoral researcher at Dublin City University and an affiliate at the Cyber Threats Research Centre (CYTREC) of Swansea University. She is an interdisciplinary researcher who works at the intersection of conflict analysis, peace studies and youth studies. In particular, the conceptualisations of ‘radicalisation’ and ‘extremism’ and the impact they have on the Youth, Peace and Security agenda and security more broadly. She obtained her PhD in Politics and International Relations from Dublin City University. Her research explores the gendered dimensions of (online) extremism, and emerging discourses of ‘radicalisation’ with an aim to understand how security stakeholders negotiate the framing of threats and responses.
