The recent VOX-Pol webinar to launch the new VOX-Pol report, ‘Right- and left-wing violent extremist abuse of digital technologies in South America, Africa and Asia‘, is now available to watch on YouTube.
This webinar, held on Wednesday 18 June 2025, accompanying the report of the same name, is available to read online and for free on the VOX-Pol Publications page. The report is a joint publication by the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) and VOX-Pol.
At the webinar, the report authors, Ottavia Galuzzi and Arthur Bradley, discussed the new publication and its recommendations, with a focus on two of the case studies in Brazil and South Africa. The webinar was chaired by Suraj Lakhani, Associate Professor in the School of Law, Politics and Sociology at the University of Sussex.
