The VOX-Pol Blog publishes weekly on a Wednesday, and takes a break in August, when we share the most-read post of the year. This year, VOX-Pol has published a total of 48 posts. Over ten of these articles were on the topic of ‘incels’ and ‘online misogyny’. ‘Young people’ were the primary focus of five posts, and the new topic of ‘mixed, unclear, and unstable ideology’ (MUU) appeared in two widely-shared posts.
Some articles took a specific region or country focus, such as Kashmir, Bangladesh, Australia, Germany, and Turkey. On the legislative side, we featured posts about EU’s Terrorist Content Online Regulation and The UK’s Online Safety Act. The VOX-Pol Blog also covered topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Countering Violent Extremism, radicalisation, and research ethics.
