Welcome to Volume 10, Issue 3 of the VOX-Pol Newsletter.


UPCOMING EVENT

A launch event for the Tech Against Terrorism Europe (TATE) project takes place in Paris on Thursday, 28 September 2023, from 14:30 to 20:30.

The event will bring together relevant actors in countering the terrorist use of the internet, in particular the diverse stakeholders involved in implementing the EU’s regulation on terrorist content. VOX-Pol Member Institutions Swansea University, Dublin City University and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich make up three of the six TATE consortium members.

The event will include a brief presentation of the TATE project and its aims in supporting hosting service providers (HSPs) align their counterterrorism response with the EU Regulation on the dissemination of terrorist content online, followed by three panel sessions. TATE welcomes you to register your interest in attending.


TASM Call For Papers

The call for papers, posters and proposals for breakout sessions for the Terrorism and Social Media (TASM) 2024 conference is now available!

  • The deadline for the call for papers is Friday 20th October 2023.
  • The deadline for the call for proposals for breakout sessions is Friday 1st December 2023.
  • The deadline for expressions of interest in exhibiting a poster is Thursday 28th March 2024.
